The Helldivers 2 X Warhammer 40,000 Legendary Warbond is out on August 12th, and contrary (or perhaps akin) to expectations, its armor spotlights the Cadian Kasrkin. As one of the Astra Militarum’s regiments, they offer up two armor sets for players to equip. Check them out in the trailer below.
The TG-8 Sharpshooter is a Medium set while the TG-122 Demo-Trooper is a Heavy set. Both feature the passive “True Grit”, which grants +20 weapon handling and 30 percent additional reload speed for support weapons. As for weapons, you’re looking at the R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle as a new Primary alongside the tried and true P/40-K Bolt Pistol.
For some extra firepower, the 40-K Meltagun is at your disposal as a new Stratagem, and judging by how quickly two of them can destroy a Factory Strider, it’s sure to become a quick favorite. The G/40-K Meltamine is also along for the ride, serving as a proximity mine that can melt steel (and Helldiver flesh, if you’re too close).
Other content in the Legendary Warbond includes a new Camo Cloak cap, the City Fighter’s Resolve player card, the “Still Standing” Title and the pattern “Castellan’s Green.” Of course, it should be accompanied by a new patch with balance changes, improvements, and more, so stay tuned for the full notes.
