GSC Game World’s newest patch for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is now available and offers another range of improvements and new features. You can check out some of them in the latest trailer below.
Perhaps the biggest addition is to A-Life 2.0, which now simulates life for all characters. No longer are their lives limited to the confines of your vision – instead, they’ll go about their business and even die when you’re not around. Other improvements include no longer spawning NPCs, including mutants, in front of you, which is a huge plus.
New additions include the Water Electric Tornado Anomaly, the Three-Line Rifle, the Kora handgun, the ability to loot mutant parts, and continuing reloads. The player stash window is also larger, and you can now display all artifact slots on armor when upgrading.
You can read the full patch notes here for more details on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It reached six million players last March.
